A mirror unto the souls of the forgotten...

There's a new version of it. Only it's 3D, involves up to eight players at a time, is fully online, offers eighteen vehicles to choose from (two are only randomly unlockable though), about twenty game maps (A and B sides), and three weapons per vehicle. All in all, pure awesome. I've been playing it since it was owned by Softnyx in 2003, and it's never ceased to amuse me. Now Ijji owns it, and they've done wonders with it. It's called GunBound and is worth more than a try. Yes, it is free, so no worries about that. I've had three IDs in it over time, one was KickMeElmo, but sadly it got hacked around 2004. The second was Sanaki, which sadly is still around but in rampant disuse, and the third is Denai. Feel free to add me if you join. I'm always looking for someone to play against. If you need more info, feel free to ask, I'm always available.

Anyway, like I said, that's about five years playing on and off. It's a lot of fun really. It used to be troublesome finding people to play with who were agreeable at all, but now it seems like most people who play are actually quite friendly. It's a nice change. Last I checked my friends list was made up of 78 people who I actually talked to, not just people I added for the hell of it. The game runs smoothly even when you're chatting, so I talk to them a lot in-game. It's the kind of thing that I don't think I'll ever get tired of really.

And for those who might play it already, what are your thoughts on it and how long have you been playing? Have any of you played since Gunbound: Thor's Hammer?

I need a roommate (or a couple for a roommate, I don't care) guaranteed by the 31st. I need to sign the lease on or before the 31st, rent is due by the 4th. For whoever takes me up on the offer, total price for them is as follows:

1/2 Monthly rent - $450/mo
1 Cat optional (only one more allowed by the rental company, we have a dog and a cat already) - $15/mo
1/2 Utilities - ~$110/mo

Total: $560-575
Keep in mind that's with the $110 estimate (water, electricity, gas, internet). It can be more or less. Generally it will not be more. The lease period is minimum 6 or 8 months I believe. Month to month lease means $100 bucks a month more, which just isn't worth it.

We're located in the Tanglewood Village apartments, right next to the Carson City Post Office on Roop St. It's a 2 bedroom 1 bath with decent living space. We have the fastest DSL they'll give us, a phone line we never use (local calls only, basic service), and more electronics than you usually see in one place (a few computers, PS3, Dreamcast,  etc.). Anyone even the slightest bit interested, please let me know. Call if you want more information or if you do want to move in. If I don't have a roommate by the 31st, I'm pretty much screwed. Even if you can't move in until next month, call me. Anything would help. My cell is 315-4405. If you call today, you might save me a couple hundred bucks too. Feel free to call at any time of day. I won't be sleeping at conventional times for a few days.
